HPC.NRW at the ISC 2024

Reinventing HPC: The annual ISC High Performance Conference was once again a complete success! From May 12 - 16, 2024, numerous workshops, training sessions, talks and the trade fair exhibition took place in Hamburg. HPC.NRW presented itself at the Gauß-Allianz exhibition stand. Here, various posters provided information about the services and structures of HPC.NRW.

At the neighboring stand of the NHR Alliance, HPC.NRW members actively organized several Sofa Talks and discussed topics of interest to the community with external guests in a relaxed, quiet atmosphere that is atypical for a conference. One very exciting topic for HPC.NRW was the Sofa Talk “HPC Competence Networks at State Level”, in which representatives from various HPC competence networks met and exchanged ideas between the NHR centers and the HPC competence centers of the federal states in Germany. 

3,227 participants attended this year's conference in Hamburg. The next ISC High Performance will also take place in Hamburg from June 10 to 13, 2025.
