HPC.nrw establishes the organizational and personnel framework to systematically link the expertise of the large high-performance computing centers in North Rhine-Westphalia (Tier 2) with the consulting and support services of the smaller centers (Tier 3). In this way, a statewide competence network is created that ensures a sustainable strengthening of HPC expertise and its availability for research in NRW.
